Drawganizer Revision History

We first released Drawganizer in August 2001 with the spelling Drawganiser. People told us they couldn't find it on search engines with that spelling, so we've changed the "s" to "z". Since June 2002 we've completely redesigned Drawganizer, simplified its user interface and added lots of powerful features.

Introduced an interface to allow Drawganizer to be launched by other applications and return files to them. A downloadable example program is available at this link . For more information, go to this page. This is of interest to software developers who need to search for files for their program to process. To run the test program, version 2.03 of Drawganizer is required. Download version 2.03 .

PrintBox printing to multiple printers improved. Demos changed from Java to Flash, because more users have flash than Java. Demos made as separate download to reduce exe size and allow updates. Online link from exe added.

Setting forms added to components. Running indication added. Right mouse click menu added to files boxes for files found. Check boxes added to control which files are output from components. Rename, delete functionality added to files boxes. FilesBox component redesigned to allow multiple filters to be applied to any number of folders. Zip functionality added to MoveCopy box, with options for self-extracting exe files, disk spanning, date stamping. New windows style navigation dialogs added to LocationBox and MoveCopyBox. Animated demos included with help system. Label feature added to allow comments to be added to a drawing and be shown at set times. Nonexistent folder path error handled in user-friendly way by LocationBox and MoveCopyBox, allowing drawings to be distributed and altered for different systems. Made fully network-capable. "Future proof" file format adopted for drawing files - new versions of Drawganizer should now always be able to read drawings produced by previous versions of Drawganizer. Options to change drawing screen and connection line color.
